Dear Vanessa,

I am writing today to resign from my current post as Lead Technical and Development Manager for the HI3 Network and LSBU.

As you are aware there have been some family issues which I have not been able to deal with during lockdown and some other ones which have recently been brought to my attention.   

There are multiple reasons why I have made this hard decision with many influences, personal and otherwise, as well as practical issues around where I intend to live for the next few years.  Because of these things I intend to take up an offer of employment in the commercial sector (once I have convalesced) and hope we will be able to work together again in some capacity in the future.

It has been an intense and enjoyable experience and the project is in a great place to move forward.

I wish you and the team all the best and feel sad that I will not be there to see the project through with you.  

BTW: I will be happy to help out in the future should you need a consultant or any advice.
